Terrible Two’s Act

Not every child is the same, but what if they were twins? We chat with Simrita Arora, famous designer and mother of the terrible twos Zina and Zoya Singh who are fashion bloggers, soul searchers, travelers and a socially responsible women, striving to work towards a better future.

In this Mother’s day edition, Parisera pays tribute to Simrita and all the mothers who keeps the sanctum of humanity alive with their unflinching love.

Simrita:

From the womb I felt the twin ladies throwing a commotion at all the time. They were inseparable, I have felt the love that keeps them intact at many instances. I always used to dress them in the same outfits for their birthday and still kept it going for few years. There was once a moment where one was complaining about an ailment and the other talked about it at the same time, even when they were not together. It was quite mysterious and fun.

We tried to put them in separate sections, but they used to create a havoc to stay together at all permissible times. Time flew by and they still do that, the intuition about each other is prompt and obvious, it’s a miracle that cannot be translated to mere words.

Zina: I love romantic pieces with softer lines.

Zoya: Edgy and feminine clothes with clean lines. But we both don’t like to dress to impress, but love to wear comfortable clothes that are sporty at most of the times.

Zina: Writing has always been my forte and marvel at the world behind the lenses. So I practice a path that allows me to capture the moment and cherish the memory in pages and photographs.
